Henry Glemham
Henry Glemham (also spelled Glenham) (c. 1603 – 17 January 1670) was an English royalist churchman who served as Dean of Bristol and Bishop of St Asaph. He was the son of Sir Henry Glemham of Glemham Hall in Suffolk. He studied at Trinity College, Oxford, matriculating on 15 October 1619 at age 16, and earned a BA in 1621, an MA in 1624, a BD in 1631 and a DD in 1633.
Glemham became rector of Symondsbury, Dorset, in 1631. He left in 1645 when his brother Thomas was a prominent royalist, and he regained the rectory in 1660. He was appointed Dean of Bristol in 1660. In 1667 he became Bishop of St Asaph and also rector of Llandrinio. He died at Glemham Hall.
