Rôni, full name Roniéliton Pereira Santos, was born on April 28, 1977, in Aurora, Tocantins, Brazil. He is a former Brazilian footballer who played as a striker. He started his youth career at Vila Nova (1995–1996) and had a long professional career at clubs in Brazil, Russia, Saudi Arabia, and Japan.

Notable clubs he played for include Fluminense (two spells), Rubin Kazan, Krylia Sovetov (on loan), Goiás, Atlético Mineiro, Flamengo, Cruzeiro, Santos, and Vila Nova, with loan spells at Yokohama F. Marinos and Gamba Osaka. In total, he made about 302 club appearances and scored 105 goals.

Internationally, Rôni represented Brazil in 1999, earning five caps and scoring two goals. He also played for the Brazil U-23 team, with one appearance and two goals.
