Krzysztof Linkowski
Krzysztof Linkowski (born October 26, 1949, in Gryfice, Poland) is a retired Polish runner who specialized in the 800 metres.
He won several medals at European indoor championships:
- 1968 European Junior Championships: bronze in the 800 metres and bronze in the 4x400 metres relay.
- 1971 European Indoor Championships: silver in the 4x800 metres relay (with Zenon Szordykowski, Michał Skowronek and Kazimierz Wardak). This Polish team still holds the indoor record in the event.
- 1972 European Indoor Championships: bronze in the 4x720 metres relay (with Zenon Szordykowski, Stanisław Waśkiewicz and Andrzej Kupczyk).
- 1973 European Indoor Championships: bronze in the 4x720 metres relay (with Lesław Zajac, Czesław Jursza and Henryk Sapko).
He also competed in the 800 metres at the 1975 European Indoor Championships but did not reach the final. He was the Polish indoor champion in 1973.
