Kithaur is a town and nagar panchayat in Meerut district, Uttar Pradesh, India. As of the 2001 census, it had a population of 23,510 (52% male, 48% female), with 21% under 6 years old. The literacy rate was 42% (52% male literacy and 32% female literacy), lower than the national average at that time. There is no degree college in Kithaur, so students travel to nearby towns for higher education. There is no government hospital in Kithaur, so patients must travel about 26 kilometers for medical care.
