Khan Chamkar Mon
Chamkar Mon (Khmer: ចំការមន; meaning Mulberry Farm) is the southernmost district in central Phnom Penh, Cambodia. It covers about 6.9 square kilometers and had a population of 70,772 in 2019. The district is divided into 12 sangkats (subdistricts) and 95 villages. On January 8, 2019, seven sangkats were moved to a new district, Khan Boeng Keng Kang. Notable schools in Chamkar Mon include the Canadian International School of Phnom Penh’s main campus on Koh Pich and Bassac Garden Preschool; iCan British International School is in Tonle Bassac; and DK SchoolHouse is in the embassy area.
