The Niagara Reporter is a weekly, opinion-based newspaper and website based in Niagara Falls, New York. It was founded on June 28, 2000 by journalist Mike Hudson. The paper is owned by Frank R. Parlato, Jr., who also contributes. The editor-in-chief is Frank Parlato, Jr., and the managing editor is James Hufnagel. The Niagara Reporter has a circulation of about 20,000 and is published in tabloid format. It runs investigative reporting on public corruption, politics, and local news, and it also carries classified ads. It is one of the largest news publications in Niagara County. Hudson had previously worked for newspapers in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New York City, and was a reporter for the Niagara Gazette and the lead singer of the Cleveland punk band The Pagans.
