Kev Seed
Kev Seed, born Kevin Seed on 27 July 1968 in Melling, Liverpool, is an English radio broadcaster. He started at Radio City in 1990, then spent five years at Rock FM in Preston, where he hosted the breakfast show. He returned to Radio City in 1997 to host The Kev Seed Breakfast Show for eleven years. He was the first to broadcast from Radio City’s tower in 2000 and helped Radio City win Sony Radio Awards in 2005 and 2007.
In August 2008 he moved to the Drivetime show (4pm–7pm). In October 2008 he was suspended and then sacked after pleading guilty to a drink-driving charge; the decision was upheld after an appeal.
From 2009 he worked as the Breakfast Presenter for Wish FM and also presented shows on Juice FM (Wigan & St Helens) and later on 107.6 Juice FM. In 2014 he did voice work for Sainsbury’s on various radio stations. In April 2016 he joined Wirral Radio to host the flagship weekend show. On 27 July 2020 he hosted the first-ever breakfast show on Liverpool Live 24/7.
