Kerton Township is one of 26 townships in Fulton County, Illinois. It was established on November 6, 1849. The township covers 26.95 square miles, of which 24.30 is land and 2.64 is water.

As of 2020, 79 people lived there in 44 households, with 68 housing units. Population density is about 3 people per square mile. The area is mostly White (about 98.7%), with 1.3% reporting two or more races.
