2011–12 Coppa Italia
The 2011–12 Coppa Italia, also known as the TIM Cup for sponsorship reasons, was Italy’s 65th edition of the annual cup competition. 78 clubs participated. Inter Milan were the defending champions. Napoli won the title (their 4th Coppa Italia), with Juventus finishing as runners-up. The tournament ran from 7 August 2011 to 20 May 2012. Napoli’s victory earned them a place in the group stage of the 2012–13 UEFA Europa League.
