Kenneth Holding
Kenneth Frank Holding (25 June 1915 – 14 June 1997) was an English cricketer who played as a right-handed batsman and wicket-keeper. Born in Bolton, Lancashire, he spent most of his career with Cheshire in the Minor Counties Championship. He made his Cheshire debut in 1955 against Northumberland and played 77 Minor Counties matches for Cheshire between 1955 and 1971.
Holding’s List A debut came in 1964 in the Gillette Cup against Surrey. He appeared in a total of four List A games, the last in 1968 against Northamptonshire, and scored 12 runs with a top score of 5 not out. He also took 2 catches as a wicket-keeper. He died in Chelford, Cheshire, on 14 June 1997 at the age of 81.
