August Beresheim House
August Beresheim House is a historic building in Council Bluffs, Iowa, located at 621 3rd Street. Built in 1899 in a neighborhood of prominent residents, the three-story frame house blends several architectural styles, with a wrap-around porch as its standout feature. Beresheim was the president of the Council Bluffs Savings Bank, and his home sits next to the Grenville M. Dodge House; the two are the only residences on that side of the street. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on August 13, 1976 (reference number 76000802). In 2005, it became a contributing property in the Willow-Bluff-3rd Street Historic District (ID 05001019).
