Kay Hull
Kay Hull AO (born Kay Elizabeth George on 3 February 1954) is a former Australian politician. A member of the National Party, she represented the Riverina electorate in New South Wales in the House of Representatives from 1998 to 2010. Before politics, she ran a small business and served as a councillor for the City of Wagga Wagga from 1991 to 1998. In April 2010, she announced she would not contest the next federal election.
Honours and recognition include:
- Kay Hull Veterinary Teaching Hospital at Charles Sturt University’s South Campus, named in 2010
- Kay Hull Conference Room at the Regional Express Australian Airline Pilot Academy, named in May 2010
- Freedom of the City from Wagga Wagga in March 2011
- Member of the Order of Australia in 2015; promoted to Officer of the Order in 2021
Personal: born in Guyra, New South Wales. She is married to Graeme Hull, has three sons, and lives in Wagga Wagga, New South Wales.
