Kaatrin Mozhi (TV series)
Kaatrin Mozhi (Language of the Wind) is a Tamil drama TV series that aired on Star Vijay from October 7, 2019, to April 9, 2021. It ran for one season with 331 episodes and stars Priyanka Jain, Sanjeev, and Manoharan Krishnan. The show is an official remake of the Telugu serial Mounaraagam on Star Maa, with Priyanka Jain reprising her role in both versions.
The story follows Kanmani, a girl who has been rejected by her father all her life and longs for his love. Her father Subbu harms her mother during pregnancy, and Kanmani is born mute. She does all the household chores and sells milk door to door. She meets a city boy named Santhosh, who remembers her as the girl who saved him from a car accident in childhood, and he falls in love with her, even as Kanmani focuses on winning her father’s affection.
