KTTU-FM, known as “Double T 97.3,” is a sports radio station at 97.3 FM serving the Lubbock area. It is licensed to New Deal, Texas, and owned by Ramar Communications, Inc. The station is the flagship of the Texas Tech Sports Network, airing Texas Tech football, men’s basketball, and baseball.

Current programming uses FOX Sports Radio as the main network, with some ESPN Radio content and CBS Sports Radio airing at other times. In 2019, ESPN Radio programming moved to 100.7 The Score, and Double T 97.3’s daytime shows shifted accordingly.

History in brief: the station began in 1961 as KPLA in Plainview and went through several call signs before becoming KTTU-FM in 2015. The city of license moved from Plainview to New Deal in 2008, with the transmitter relocated to the Lubbock area.

- HD2: simulcast of 100.7 The Score (sports)
- HD3: Sunny 97.7 (oldies)
- HD4: 93.1 Yes FM (hot adult contemporary)

KTTU-FM’s call letters honor Texas Tech University. Sister stations include KLBB-FM, KRBL-FM, KTTU-AM, and KXTQ-FM.
