Kanaala Nanjunda Tirumala Sastry (5 September 1945 – 13 September 2018), known as K. N. T. Sastry, was an Indian film critic, screenwriter, director, writer, and producer who mainly worked in Telugu cinema. He won six National Film Awards, three Nandi Awards, and three international honors. He served as the chairman of the critics jury at the National Film Awards. He was a frequent juror at film events: Vladivostok International Film Festival (2003); five times on the Indian Panorama jury at the International Film Festival of India; juror for the Nandi Awards; and a FIPRESCI juror at Kinotavr and the Busan International Film Festival. His film Thilaadanam won the New Currents Award at the 7th Busan International Film Festival. He collaborated on research projects with veteran director B. Narsing Rao. His English documentary Harvesting Baby Girls won a Special Jury Award at the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam (IDFA).
