Juliaca District
Juliaca District is one of four districts in San Román Province, Puno Region, Peru. Its capital is the city of Juliaca. The district covers 533.47 square kilometers and sits at an elevation of 3,824 meters above sea level. In 2017, 228,726 people lived there, with a density of about 429 people per square kilometer. The UBIGEO code is 211101. The time zone is UTC-5 (PET). The mayor from 2019 to 2022 was David Sucacahua Yucra.
