Julia Ann is an American pornographic actress and feature dancer from Los Angeles, California. She is honored in the Halls of Fame of AVN, XRCO, NightMoves, and Brazzers. As a child, she enjoyed animals and horses, took piano lessons, and could swim very well. At 12 she moved to Idyllwild for a college-prep school, then returned to Los Angeles to live with her grandmother at 17. At 18 she had nude photos taken by a photographer and later worked as a mud wrestler in Hollywood before joining the touring strip act Blondage with Janine Lindemulder in the early 1990s. Their success led to Carnal Comics titles, including a Julia Ann solo comic she co-wrote, and opened doors to the adult film industry. In the 1990s she performed for Vivid Video alongside Lindemulder, and she was under contract with Wicked Pictures in 2006, though she announced in 2007 that she had not renewed the contract.
