Gordon McKee (born October 12, 1966) is a former American track and field athlete who competed in the long jump. He won a silver medal at the 1992 IAAF World Cup in Havana, finishing behind Iván Pedroso. His personal best in the long jump was 8.28 meters (27 feet 1 3/4 inches). He reached the qualifying rounds at the 1993 IAAF World Indoor Championships and was the USA Indoor Champion in the long jump in 1990. Track & Field News ranked him ninth in the world in 1990 and again in 1992. He grew up in Texas, the son of Frank and Barbara McKee, with a sister named Jan, and attended Rockdale High School, where he excelled in track and was inducted into the school’s Sports Hall of Honor in 2013. In 2005, his family lost their house to flooding after Hurricane Katrina.
