Order of Sultan Ahmad Shah of Pahang
The Most Illustrious Order of Sultan Ahmad Shah of Pahang (Malay: Darjah Kebesaran Sultan Ahmad Shah Pahang Yang Amat Di Mulia) is a royal knighthood of the Malaysian state of Pahang. It was founded on 24 October 1977 by Sultan Ahmad Shah to honor people who have rendered meritorious service to the state.
The order has four classes:
- Grand Knight (SSAP) – post-nominal SSAP; title Dato’ Sri for the recipient and Datin Sri for his wife
- Knight Companion (DSAP) – post-nominal DSAP; title Dato’ for the recipient and Datin for his wife
- Companion (SAP) – post-nominal SAP
- Member (AAP) – post-nominal AAP
The sovereign of the order is the Sultan of Pahang, currently Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah.
