Journal of Maternal-Fetal and Neonatal Medicine
The Journal of Maternal-Fetal and Neonatal Medicine is a monthly, peer‑reviewed English‑language medical journal. It covers obstetric, medical, genetic, mental health, and surgical complications of pregnancy and their effects on the mother, fetus, and newborn, along with research on audit, evaluation, and clinical care in maternal‑fetal and perinatal medicine. It is the official journal of the European Association of Perinatal Medicine, the Federation of Asia and Oceania Perinatal Societies, and the International Society of Perinatal Obstetricians.
The journal began in 1992 as The Journal of Maternal-Fetal Medicine; Prenatal and Neonatal Medicine started in 1996, and the two merged in 2002 to form the current title. It has been published by several publishers over time: originally Wiley-Liss; Parthenon Publishing Group published Prenatal and Neonatal Medicine; Parthenon was acquired by CRC Press in 2001, CRC Press by Taylor & Francis in 2003, and Informa in 2004. The editors-in-chief are Gian Carlo Di Renzo and Dev Maulik. The publisher is Informa Healthcare (United States), and the journal has a monthly publication schedule. Its impact factor was 1.674 in 2015.
