1998 du Maurier Open – Men's singles
Patrick Rafter won the 1998 Canadian Open (du Maurier Open) men's singles, defeating Richard Krajicek in the final 7–6(7–3), 6–4. Rafter became the first player in ten years to win the tournament without dropping a set, a feat last achieved by Ivan Lendl in 1988. The defending champion, Chris Woodruff, did not participate due to an eight-month injury.
