Joséphine Pagnier
Joséphine Pagnier, born 4 June 2002 in Chaux-Neuve, France, is a French ski jumper. She has won two World Cup races and has four World Cup podiums, with a personal best of 181 meters at Vikersund in March 2024. She was French national champion in 2019 and 2020.
Her highlights include a silver medal in the girls’ event and a bronze in the mixed team at the 2020 Winter Youth Olympics in Lausanne. She helped France win the ladies’ team event at the 2018 Nordic Junior World Championships and made her World Cup debut in 2017 in Hinterzarten. She won two Continental Cup events in Notodden in 2016–17.
In 2021 she was second in the girls’ event at the Nordic Junior World Championships and finished 16th at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships. She competed in the normal hill event at the 2022 Winter Olympics, finishing 11th overall, and earned a third place at a 2021–22 World Cup event in Aigner-Schanze.
In the 2023–24 season she started strong, finishing second in one event and then winning the next, taking the World Cup lead. Pagnier lives in Franche-Comté and is coached by her father, Joël.
