Matthew Rombach Denver (December 21, 1870 – May 13, 1954) was an American banker and politician from Ohio. He served as a Democratic U.S. Representative for Ohio’s 6th district from 1907 to 1913, serving three terms. Born at Rombach Place in Wilmington, Ohio, he was the son of James W. Denver, who was a congressman from California in the mid-1800s. Denver attended public schools in Wilmington and graduated from Georgetown University in 1892. He declined to run for reelection in 1912. After leaving Congress, he returned to banking, becoming president of the Ohio Bankers' Association in 1918–1919 and serving as president of the Clinton County National Bank & Trust Co. from 1902 until his death. He died in Wilmington, Ohio, and is buried at Sugar Grove Cemetery.
