Jonny Mendoza
Jonny Gabriel Mendoza Alvorado (born July 8, 1983) is a Venezuelan boxer who competes in the flyweight division. He represented Venezuela at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. There, he was eliminated in the second round by Namibia’s Paulus Ambunda, losing on points 39-19. Mendoza earned his Olympic spot by finishing second at the 2nd AIBA American 2004 Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Rio de Janeiro.
