John Druce Sayer (29 October 1920 – 27 October 2013) was an English first-class cricketer and Royal Navy officer. Born in Hong Kong and educated at Shrewsbury School, he joined the Fleet Air Arm during World War II, flying on mining and anti-U-boat missions against German-occupied ports. After an injury, he transferred to the Royal Navy in 1947 and rose through the ranks, eventually becoming a commander in 1957. He served in various roles, including as naval attaché to Thailand (1967–1970), and was awarded the OBE in 1970 before retiring from the Navy.

In cricket, Sayer played four first-class matches for the Combined Services between 1950 and 1952, scoring 81 runs at 11.57 with a top score of 49, and taking seven wickets with his slow left-arm orthodox bowling (best figures 4/38).

After leaving the service, he coached cricket at Dauntsey's School in Wiltshire and played club cricket for Wiltshire Queries Cricket Club, later serving as the club’s vice-president. He died in Easterton, Wiltshire, at the age of 92.
