John Leslie (3 November 1814 – 4 November 1897) was an Irish first-class cricketer and a barrister. He was born in Dromore, Ireland, the younger son of John Leslie, a bishop, and Isabella St. Lawrence. He studied at Harrow School and Christ Church, Oxford, where he matriculated in 1833.

While at Oxford, he played two first-class cricket matches in 1836: for the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) against Oxford University at Oxford, and for Oxford University against the MCC at Lord's. He scored 46 runs in total, with a batting average of 15.33 and a top score of 28. He studied law at King's Inns in Dublin and at Lincoln's Inn in London, and was called to the bar in 1840 and January 1841 respectively; he later belonged to the Middle Temple. He died in Albury, Surrey, England, the day after his 83rd birthday.
