Mikey Hachey
Mikey Hachey, born Michael Joseph Hachey on January 29, 1985, is an American bassist from Orange County, California. He is best known for his time with the ska band Suburban Legends, which he joined in November 2004 after an audition arranged by his friend Derek Lee Rock, replacing Chris Maurer. Before Suburban Legends, he played in a band called Perilous with Ashley Hittesdorf (Ashley Costello of New Years Day). Hachey left Suburban Legends in 2010 but later contributed bass to most tracks on their 2012 album Day Job. He has collaborated with artists like Dallas Kruse and Justin Grennan and is the in-house bassist for ZionStudios in California. He also played bass for Cirque du Soleil's Viva Elvis in Las Vegas and for the Las Vegas production of Million Dollar Quartet at Harrah's. He studied music education at California State University, Fullerton, and joined the Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia fraternity.
