Jimmy Hitchcock (golfer)
Jimmy Hitchcock (James Hitchcock) (1930–2015) was an English professional golfer. Born in Bromley, England, he won two notable events: the 1960 British Masters and the 1965 Agfa-Gevaert Tournament. He played for Great Britain and Ireland in the 1965 Ryder Cup, but lost all three matches he participated in. Hitchcock competed in the Masters and The Open Championship, with his best finishes being T61 at the Masters in 1966 and T11 at The Open in 1959. He died on December 25, 2015, in Belgium, where he had lived for many years.
