Jim Ross (ice hockey)
Jim Ross (May 20, 1926 – January 1, 2016) was a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman. Born in Edinburgh, Scotland, he grew up in Toronto, Ontario. He was 6 ft 3 in tall, weighed 185 lb, and shot right. Ross played 62 games in the NHL with the New York Rangers during the 1951–52 and 1952–53 seasons. His career lasted from 1944 to 1955. He died in Woodstock, Ontario, at age 89.
