Jehan d'Abundance was a French poet and author of farces who lived in Pont-Saint-Esprit and died around 1540. He also used the pen names Maistre Tyburce and Tyburce Dyariferos. He wrote many moralities, mysteries, and farces, with La Cornette being his best-known work. Antoine du Verdier mentions La Cornette in Bibliothèque française (Paris, 1773, vol. II, p. 325). A line from La Cornette talks about wines of different colors and prices and asks listeners to decide which is best.
