Jeff Rosenstock is an American musician from Long Island, New York. He plays multiple instruments, sings, and writes songs. He started Quote Unquote Records, the first donation-based record label, to share music widely and affordably.

His first band was The Arrogant Sons of Bitches (ASOB), formed in 1995. After ASOB broke up in 2004, he began Bomb the Music Industry!, a project known for its DIY punk ethic and online accessibility. He then started a solo career in 2012, releasing a debut mixtape, I Look Like Shit, shortly after Bomb the Music Industry! announced they would end. He followed with the Summer Seven Club project in 2013, which became the Summer + compilation.

As a solo artist, he released We Cool? in 2015, Worry in 2016, Post- in 2018, No Dream in 2020, and Ska Dream in 2021 (a ska version of No Dream). His fifth studio album, Hellmode, came out in 2023.

Rosenstock has also been part of several other bands. Antarctigo Vespucci is a collaboration with Chris Farren. He joined The Bruce Lee Band in 2014 and has also been involved with Kudrow, Pegasuses-XL, and Death Rosenstock (a live project). He has worked with many other artists as a producer.

Since 2018, he has written music for Cartoon Network’s Craig of the Creek. He released a live album covering the show’s theme as Death Rosenstock, and in 2024 released the soundtrack for the Craig of the Creek film, Craig Before the Creek, with him again writing all music and lyrics.

Personal life: Rosenstock was born on September 7, 1982, on Long Island to a Jewish mother and a German Catholic father; his sister is writer Kim Rosenstock. He married Christine Mackie in 2015 and lived in Brooklyn before moving to Highland Park, Los Angeles in 2020. In 2023–24, his band postponed shows due to COVID-19. In November 2024, he publicly came out as non-binary on Bluesky, while stating his pronouns remain he/him.
