Jančište
Jančište is a village in the Jegunovce municipality of North Macedonia, in the Polog region. It lies at 42°03′11″N 21°07′01″E (about 42.0530°N, 21.1170°E). The population was 587 in 2002. The village uses the CET time zone (UTC+1, UTC+2 in summer) and car plates TE.
Historically, Jančište appears in the 1467/68 Ottoman tax registry for the Kalkandelen nahiyah, with 39 Christian households and 2 bachelors. In 1900, ethnographer Vasil Kanchov recorded 145 Christian Bulgarians living there.
