James Folks
James N. Folks (October 19, 1897 – January 20, 2001) was an American politician from Michigan. He served in the Michigan House of Representatives from 1955 to 1972, representing Jackson County first in the 2nd district (1955–1964) and later in the 49th district (1965–1972) as a Republican. Folks was born in Hanover, Michigan, and died in Marshall, Michigan, at age 103. He was married to Jeannie and had five children. He attended Michigan State University and worked as a farmer and bank director. He was preceded in the House by Leo Miller and succeeded by Dan Angel.
