Bjorn Olson is an American politician from Minnesota. He has served in the Minnesota House of Representatives for District 22A since January 5, 2021, and became speaker pro tempore on February 6, 2025. A Republican, Olson represents south-central Minnesota, including Fairmont and parts of Blue Earth, Faribault, Martin, and Watonwan counties.

Born January 13, 1991, in Fairmont, Olson grew up there, attended Blue Earth High School, and earned a BA in history and social studies education from Bethel University in 2013. He is a history teacher, a farmer, and a Major in the U.S. Army Reserve. Before joining the legislature, he served two terms as mayor of Elmore.

Olson was elected to the Minnesota House in 2020 after 13-term Republican Bob Gunther retired; Gunther endorsed Olson in the primary. He was reelected in 2022 and has served as an assistant minority leader. He sits on the Taxes, Transportation Finance and Policy, and Veterans and Military Affairs Finance and Policy committees. He has opposed rural school bike safety programs and the study of commuter rail, calling the latter a waste of taxpayer money.

He lives in Fairmont with his wife, Hannah, and their three children. Hannah writes a motherhood blog called Just Bee Blog.
