JTC plc
JTC plc is a Jersey-based financial services company that provides fund administration. It started in 1987 as Jersey Trust Company and later grew into a public company listed on the London Stock Exchange, as part of the FTSE 250. The firm operates from Jersey and has offices in Cape Town, Guernsey and Luxembourg, employing about 2,300 people worldwide.
Key people are Chairman Mike Liston, Chief Executive Nigel Le Quesne and Chief Financial Officer Martin Fotheringham.
In 2024, JTC reported revenue of £305.4 million, operating income of £18.9 million and a net loss of £7.3 million.
JTC went public after buying Merrill Lynch's international trust and wealth structuring business in 2017, with an IPO in March 2018. It made two major acquisitions in 2020: Sanne Group's private client business in March and NES Financial for $40 million in April.
In November 2025, Permira agreed to acquire JTC for about £2.3 billion.
