Hemeroblemma mexicana

Hemeroblemma mexicana is a species of moth in the family Erebidae. It is found in Mexico and Central America, including Honduras. A female was collected in Starr County, Texas, in 2012, showing the species can occur in the United States. The larvae are injurious to cacao leaves in some years. It was described by Guenée in 1852, and has the synonym Peosina mexicana.
