J. L. Streit House
J. L. Streit House is a Queen Anne–style home at 2201 Grand Avenue in Pueblo, Colorado. Built in 1888 by Meyers Bros. and designed by local architect Patrick P. Mills, its front features a polygonal tower that earned it the nickname “octagon house.” The property sits on about 0.1 acre. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on September 20, 1984, with the reference number 84000892, recognized for its role as a premier model home for the Dundee Investment Company and for Mills’ distinctive octagonal front tower. It has also been known as the Creel House.
