2016–17 Central Connecticut Blue Devils men's basketball team
The 2016–17 Central Connecticut Blue Devils men's basketball team represented Central Connecticut State University in the Northeast Conference during the 2016–17 NCAA Division I season. Led by first-year head coach Donyell Marshall, they played home games at William H. Detrick Gymnasium in New Britain, Connecticut. They finished 6–23 overall and 4–14 in NEC play, in ninth place, and did not qualify for the NEC tournament.
The Blue Devils had finished 4–25 in 2015–16, 3–15 in NEC play, in last place, and also missed the NEC tournament. Donyell Marshall was named the program's head coach on April 6, 2016, replacing Howie Dickenman, who retired after 20 years.
