The Information and Public Relations Department (IPRD) of Bihar is a government department based in Soochna Bhavan, Patna. It works to share government information with the public and to keep the press informed.

- Analyze media coverage to understand public mood and respond with the government’s viewpoint when needed.
- Support mass communication and public education using posters, pamphlets, booklets, etc.; facilitate advertising for government programs.
