Indy Women in Tech Championship
The Indy Women in Tech Championship was a women’s professional golf tournament on the LPGA Tour held in Indianapolis, Indiana. It took place at Brickyard Crossing Golf Course inside the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The event ran for three years, from 2017 to 2019, and was sponsored by Guggenheim Life and Annuity.
What happened
- Location and course: Speedway, Indiana, Brickyard Crossing at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The course is a par-72 layout measuring about 6,456 yards.
- Format changes: In 2017 the event was scheduled as a 72-hole stroke-play tournament but was shortened to 54 holes because it occurred the week before the Evian Championship. In 2018 and 2019 the event was a full 72-hole competition with a large field.
- Winners and scores:
- 2017: Lexi Thompson (United States) won with a total of 197 (63-66-68), 19-under, by 4 strokes. Prize purse was $2,000,000; winner’s share was $300,000. The tournament was 54 holes that year.
- 2018: Park Sung-hyun (South Korea) won in a playoff after shooting 265 (68-63-66-68), 23-under. Prize purse was $2,000,000; winner’s share $300,000.
- 2019: M. J. Hur (South Korea) won with 267 (63-70-66-68), 21-under, by 4 strokes. Prize purse was $2,000,000; winner’s share $300,000.
Course and records
- The Brickyard Crossing course was briefly re-routed for tournament play, with the front nine consisting of holes 11–18 and then hole 1, and the back nine played as holes 2–10—the four holes inside the infield were used as the finish.

- Round record: 62, set by Lizette Salas in 2018 (−10).
- Aggregate scoring record: 265 (Park Sung-hyun and Lizette Salas) in 2018 (−23).
End of the event
- The Indy Women in Tech Championship was discontinued after 2019 and is no longer part of the LPGA Tour.
