2025 New Zealand Warriors season

The 2025 season was the New Zealand Warriors’ 31st in the NRL. Head coach Andrew Webster led the team for the third straight year. After Tohu Harris announced his retirement on January 9, 2025, Mitch Barnett and James Fisher-Harris were named co-captains in February. The Warriors also played at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas for the NRL’s Las Vegas event for the first time.

They finished 6th in the regular season (14 wins, 0 draws, 11 losses) and qualified for the finals for the tenth time in their history, first since 2023. In the elimination final on September 13, they were defeated 24–8 by the Penrith Panthers at Go Media Stadium in Auckland, ending their season.

The Warriors’ reserve-grade team won the NSW Cup Grand Final 30–12 against St George Illawarra Dragons on September 28, and then won the 2025 NRL State Championship 50–20 over the Burleigh Bears on October 5.
