ISO 31-3 is part of the international standard ISO 31 that defines names and symbols for mechanical quantities and their units. It was published on 27 August 1992 and withdrawn on 17 March 2006, because it was replaced by ISO 80000-4. In this standard, bold symbols indicate vector quantities.
