Hypest Hype is a song by electronic duo Chase & Status featuring Tempa T. It was released on 8 November 2010 as a promotional single for their second album No More Idols, which came out on 28 January 2011. The track is 3 minutes and 30 seconds long and blends big beat, breakbeat and grime. It was produced by Chase & Status and released on Mercury/Vertigo. The writers include Will Kennard, Saul Milton, Nicholas Dei, and The Doors members Jim Morrison, Robby Krieger, Ray Manzarek, and John Densmore. Hypest Hype was the third single from No More Idols. Although radio support from the previous single Let You Go suggested it would be the next single, it was released as a free download on Chase & Status’s official site. It still charted, reaching number 70 on the UK Singles Chart and number 7 on the UK Dance Chart after the album’s release. On 21 November 2010, Q magazine named it Track of the Day.
