Holmes Foundation
Holmes Foundation, started in 2006 by Canadian contractor and TV host Mike Holmes, supports young people entering the skilled trades. Each year it awards up to 20 scholarships and bursaries of $1,500 to students in or starting a Canadian college or university program in residential construction. Recipients are chosen for academic excellence and dedication to the craft, helping them cover training costs, including tools, books, and supplies.
