Hilda Mason (architect)
Hilda Frances Mason (17 June 1879 – 1955) was an English architect. She designed St Andrew's Church in Felixstowe (1929–1930) with Raymond Erith; it was the first church in England built with reinforced concrete. Since 10 February 1986, it has been Grade II* listed. The church blends late-Gothic Suffolk church features with a modern reinforced-concrete-and-glass style inspired by Perret's Notre-Dame, Le Raincy. Mason also built her own modernist home, Kings Knoll, in Woodbridge. She painted watercolours and showed them with the Ipswich Art Club. She never married and died in Ipswich aged 74.
