High Pressure (album)
High Pressure is a jazz studio album by the Red Garland Quintet with John Coltrane. It was recorded in 1957 at Van Gelder Studio in Hackensack, New Jersey, but released in late 1961 by Prestige Records. The album runs 43 minutes and 58 seconds and was produced by Bob Weinstock (Prestige PRLP 7209). The sessions took place on November 15 (tracks 3–4) and December 13 (tracks 1–2 and 5). In Red Garland’s discography, the album comes after Soul Junction (1960) and before Dig It! (1962).
