Emily Cotty (born 14 August 2009) is a British-New Zealand racing driver, currently competing in Formula 4 with R-ace GP in the Italian F4 Championship. She was born in Chichester, England, and holds dual nationality.

Early life and karting
Cotty grew up riding horses before switching to karting at nine, using indoor karts. During the Covid period she raced in different IKR rounds, then moved into national MSUK club competition in 2022. She spent two seasons in the Super One Series and won the Junior Rotax title in 2024.

Formula 4 debut and 2024 season
After a planned Nordic 4 Championship drive fell through, Cotty tested Formula 4 cars for much of 2024 and made her single-seater debut in the F4 British Championship with Phinsys by Argenti. At Silverstone she finished 18th and 19th in her first two single-seater races. She also raced in Formula Trophy UAE with AGI Sport, finishing 23rd overall.

2025 season and progress
Cotty began the 2025 season with a full campaign in the F4 Middle East Championship with R-ace GP. She scored her first points with a 12th‑place finish at the Dubai Autodrome, then finished 11th at Yas Marina and later earned another rookie podium during the season. She also had a one-off appearance for Hitech Grand Prix in the Formula Winter Series final in Barcelona, with a best result of 15th.

Italian F4 and awards
Cotty joined the 2025 Italian F4 Championship with R-ace GP. She started with 17th in Misano and improved to 16th at Vallelunga. She finished the season as the leader of the women’s trophy, winning the Italian F4 Women’s Championship title.

Other series
She competed in the 2025 FIA F4 World Cup (Mygale M21-F4), with a 16th in qualifying, a DNF in one race, and 12th in the main race. In 2026 she raced in the UAE4 Series with R-ace GP, finishing 8th overall with 32 points and recording several top-10 results.

Personal life
Known for her British and New Zealand roots, Cotty is building her career across international junior formula racing and has already made a mark in multiple championships.
