Henry Robinson Hall
Henry Robinson Hall (6 April 1859 – 31 May 1927) was a Victorian and Edwardian landscape painter who worked in oils and watercolours, best known for painting Highland cattle. He was born in York to Eliza Robinson and later lived in York, Elswick, Blackpool, Woodland, Coniston and Barrow-in-Furness. He married Mary Annie Bleasdale. Hall died in Barrow-in-Furness and was buried in the yard of St. Andrews parish church in Coniston. He exhibited at the Royal Academy in 1902 and was a fellow of the North British Academy of Arts.
