Heliocheilus ionola is a moth in the Noctuidae family. It lives in parts of Australia, including the Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales, the Northern Territory, Queensland, and Western Australia. The species was first described by Swinhoe in 1901. Its scientific name is Heliocheilus ionola, and it has also been called Melicleptria ionola and Adisura ionola in the past.
