Hayden Jones
Hayden Jones is an Australian tennis player from the Gold Coast. Born on 30 August 2006, he is 1.75 meters tall and plays right-handed with a two-handed backhand. His career-high ATP singles ranking is 929 (achieved 17 November 2025) and his doubles best is 602 (achieved 3 February 2025). He made his Grand Slam debut in 2025 at the Australian Open in mixed doubles with his sister Emerson Jones.
In junior tennis, Jones reached ITF world No. 8 in May 2024 and was a semifinalist in the 2023 US Open boys’ doubles with Alexander Razeghi. He won back-to-back singles titles in Thailand in March 2024, lifting his junior ranking to No. 11. He received a wildcard into the 2024 Australian Open qualifying and reached the Boys’ singles quarterfinals. He trains at the KDV Tennis Academy on the Gold Coast, after previously training at the National Tennis Academy, and attended Coomera Anglican College. His mother, Loretta Harrop, is an Olympic silver medalist in triathlon (2004), his father, Brad Jones, played Australian rules football, and his sister Emerson Jones is also a junior tennis player.
